At Houndstead Creations, we take pride in crafting high-quality, freeze-dried pet treats from the heart of Door County, Wisconsin. Your satisfaction and your pet’s well-being are important to us.

Returns

Due to the consumable nature of our pet treats and our commitment to product safety, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for opened products, changes of mind, or products purchased in error.

Unopened products are also generally non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, or a return is required by applicable law.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or contains an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.

When contacting us, please include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging, if available

We will review your concern and work toward an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on the circumstances.

Please do not discard a defective product or its packaging until we have had an opportunity to review the issue, unless keeping it would be unsafe.

Refunds

When a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before an order has shipped or been prepared for pickup. Once an order has shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Product Concerns

If you believe a treat may be unsafe or have a quality issue, discontinue feeding it to your pet and contact us promptly.

If your pet experiences an adverse reaction, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
